The Original Crysis Coming to Consoles Next Month

Yes, you're reading that right: Crysis is coming to consoles (Xbox 360 and PS3 via download) next month. EA is promising "new lighting and effects" as well as new Nanosuit controls in the rerelease.

What didn't they promise? A reprisal of "Can it run Crysis?" jokes.

Another entry into the long-standing fashion of reviewing games in a gigantic pile. Screw the formalities, just hit the break for some reviews.

Dead Rising: CASE ZERO hits August 31 for $5

Oh yea, I'm liking that price.

After many months of saying "oh, it'll be out before Dead Rising 2," Capcom has finally told us when we can expect CASE ZERO. To fill the void that used to be filled by Dead Rising 2, CASE ZERO fills us up on August 31. This is also two weeks after Summer of Arcade ends with five $15 priced games.

With a game that has as much gameplay as it does, and it sells for $5 (400 points), I'm sure a lot of people - myself, including - are retracting their "Higher Quality Games = More Money That I'll Gladly Pay" statements.

XBLM's Deal of the Week: Shadow Complex for $10

If you haven't played Shadow Complex yet....what the fuck is wrong with you? If you don't have a 360, that's understandable. If you do and still don't have it, just get rid of your 360 now. It's a great homage to two of the most amazing games of the 90's; Super Metroid and Castlevania: Symphony of the Night.

And it's only $10, down from the original $15. Do it. Now.

Release dates galore: Yakuza 4, Mega Man 10, Perfect Dark and Brütal DLC

In a day that probably won't be remember for jack shit, we are treated to four - count 'em, one-two-three-four - release dates spanning multiple consoles and regions.

First up, Yakuza 4. We - Yanks and Brits - were glad to learn that Yakuza 3 would finally get the localization treatment it deserved and would be coming our way March 2010 (my prediction date, again, is the 16). Today, Sega announces that Japan has mastered space-time travel and will be treated to the release of Yakuza 4. In the same month. On the 18th. Bump that. Next!

Nintendo Power has unveiled (I have yet to receive my issue) that Mega Man 10 will be coming to WiiWare sometime. No solid release date or other systems were made available, but you will be able to play as Proto Man right out of the box download, as well as a third, mystery character. And we're still getting the retro, NES-style artwork and 8-bit style graphics. Radical.

Call of Duty: Classic Achievements Revealed

About time. For those not in the know, Call of Duty: Classic, the original CoD, is going to be released alongside Modern Warfare 2 as a "timed exclusive" for those who buy the Hardened or Prestige editions of the game. No release date for XBLA/PSN has been announced, but it's sometime afterward for roughly $15 real dollars. Expect these to be the PSN's Trophies, as well.

The achievements, gathered by my favorite achievement-tracking site, xbox360achievents.org, has compiled the list comprising of 12 achievements. There is your standard fare of achievements, such as normal story progression and actually beating the game. However, there are some oddballs such as beating a mission without dying or loading a checkpoint and beating a mission using solely your pistol (melee's do not count).

GTA IV's The Ballad Of Gay Tony Trailer, Release Date Is For All To Enjoy

Here it is, it's finally here. The trailer for the second Liberty City Episode, The Ballad of Gay Tony, is upon us.

The other good part is the release date. October 29. The same day you can score Episodes from Liberty City (TBOGT and TLAD) for $40. If you download, you don't need GTA IV. If you buy the collection of episodes, you do. Go figure.

Trailer at Kotaku. Sorry. I'm not as privileged as some.
