ScrawlFX got a hold of the newest issue of Portugal's Official PlayStation Magazine, and there's a teaser image for Infamous 2, only showing Cole's eyes, and two tiny screens at the bottom. The text on the image says:
"The announcement of a great PlayStation 3 exclusive sequel in the next ROPS."
ROPS is Portugal's abbreviation for the magazine.
Head over to ScralFX's site for the image. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.

New Zelda XVI Theory: That Blue Thing in the Artwork? Navi.
As I'm perusing the internet on Zelda stuff, I take it upon myself to check out Zeldapedia to see if they have anything.
And they do.
On April 5, an update to the page for the "Blue Figure" hit, with a subcategory to "Theories," simply titled "Navi." My blood is boiling at this point.
The Blue Figure is the name given to the apparently Zora-looking person standing back-to-back to Link in the only artwork we have. It is here that a pretty wild assertion is made: the Blue Figure is Navi, and this is a remake of Ocarina of Time.
And they do.

[RUMOR] North America Gets Black Wii in May
Multiple retail sources for Kotaku tell them that there is a new Wii bundle coming in May, but this time, we're getting black. Yes, a black Wii. The very same that Japan got last summer, and Europe got it this past fall. So, it only makes sense that NOA would give the Americans something a little...darker.
For those keeping track, I've been frothing over a black Wii ever since Iwata introduced the Revolution as a black unit, introduced a bevvy of colors to the system, limited it down to two colors (black and white), then finally scrapped black in favor of white. That was 3 and a half years ago.
Back to the news, Kotaku says the bundle will come with Wii Sports Resort and a MotionPlus attachment for $200. It's not a bad deal, considering the Wii Sports Resort/MotionPlus bundle is $50 in it's own. Throw that little guy on eBay, plus your white Wii, and you've got yourself a nice little chunk of change back in your pocket.
Considering all our controllers are black now, you wouldn't be surprised by this news, would you? Maybe their plumber has something to do with a new hardware bundle?

Maybe that new Nintendo hardware actually isn't the DSi XL...
In an acceptance speech, Miyamoto casually mentioned he's working on a new piece of hardware, as well as a new MotionPlus-enabled game.
If you remember my initial skepticism when it was rumored Nintendo would be unveiling a new piece of hardware at GDC 2010 next month, I said it could be one of three things: a proper North American unveiling of the DSi XL, the Wii HD or a new GameBoy. Well, no specifics were given in Joystiq's article - not even a quote - however, this can lead speculation that the DSi XL is not the topic of GDC, however, if it's not not the DSi XL, the Wii HD is continuously downplayed, and the GameBoy was killed by the DS, then where is there to go from here?
Me? Well, I believe it's completely unrelated to the DS. Why make an announcement about a new handheld when the newest unveiled one isn't even out yet? The DS was supposedly the third tier of Nintendo products (sorry, but no, it's not; Nintendo successfully killed the GameBoy with their own system), so I'm going to say it's Wii related. Nintendo doesn't do hardware refreshes of it's main systems (that is, unless, you count the slimmed down NES and SNES they released, and that was about 500 years ago), so it would be contradictory. Then again, Nintendo was the company that pioneered pack-in games with Mario on the NES, and nobody has done that at launch except for Nintendo themselves with Wii Sports.
Final thought: Wii something. Break out the scorecards, people. GDC is going to be very interesting.

[RUMOR] Will Nintendo reveal a new system at GDC?
We haven't reached the one-month countdown yet, and we're already getting retard-crazy rumors started up.
This first rumor is that Nintendo already has a new system in the pipeline, devs are already working on it, and they're set to unveil it at GDC next month.
What could be misconstrued as a new system yet to be talked about is that Nintendo has yet to officially unveil the DSi XL to North America; they simply did a follow up at the Japanese unveiling to mention the North American and European name and a release window. There hasn't been a press conference talking about it. This could simply be Nintendo bringing DSi XL news stateside.
Another way you can take this is - bear with me - the Wii HD. This has to be said in the rumor mill, because when you hear "Nintendo" and "new system," you immediately think of the Wii HD.
Finally, Nintendo could finally confirm they are bat-shit crazy by unveiling a new GameBoy. That's right, a new GameBoy. Fucking retarded, right? So retarded, you'd buy one. Just like the iPad.

Resistance 3 Announced?
As I'm cruising through my RSS feeds playing the Uncharted 2 MP demo, I see something in regards to a Resistance 3 billboard. Considering Sony and billboards get along so well (giant PSP ad, the black/white controversy, et cetera), it didn't surprise me Sony would do some future-advertising (PS9 anyone?).
Turns out, it's a stage prop for a movie being filmed in LA called Battle: Los Angeles featuring everyone's favorite Harvey Dent, Aaron Eckhart, and an eagle-eyed reader over at NeoGAF (goldsoundz) spotted the billboard while driving, and snapped the obligatory photos.
The movie itself isn't due out until February 2011, so I'm sure Sony could get R3 rubbed out by then. You could even say we can look forward to a Winter 2010 release date for the game, seeing as every game in the series has released in the Winter of their respective launch years.
Head past the break for details and my own speculation on what this could mean.

[RUMOR] Resident Evil 5: Director's Cut Unveiled By Jill Voice Actor?
You've gotta love this. Jill's voice actor, Patricia Ja Lee, has put out an interesting tid bit of info: Resident Evil 5: Director's Cut is on it's way, and with "the news already out," you can expect to hear about this very soon...
Uh, sorry, what? "...the news is already out?" Seriously? You're a paid voice actor for Resident-fucking-Evil and you can't keep quiet about a game that hasn't even been announced? Capcom needs to get their shit together on these NDAs real soon. Next thing you know, Resident Evil 6: Director's Cut Collector Edition w/ Serialized Leon Kennedy Bust will be unveiled by Wesker's voice actor.
::i pray to god you got the entirety of that joke::
With Capcom being at TGS this year, you can bet they'll make an announcement at TGS - which kicks off tonight at 9:30 PM, eastern time, with Sony's press conference - and there are two things you can bring from this. (1) This can either be Resident Evil 5, as it was when it released earlier this year, with the Mercenaries DLC and this Jill-based content, all packaged together or (2) can simply be Jill-based DLC (as VG247 has mentioned).
"I guess the news is already out..." about "...the director's cut that's coming out for Resident Evil 5...it's gonna be, uhh, at least, somewhat involving Jill Valentine...It's some good scenes."
For being the face behind the face of a character with one of the worst nicknames in a video game franchise, who is a veteran of using terrible dialogue, you sure do keep to your roots, sweetheart...
